This Summer School is a part of Asia Applied Artificial Intelligence (A3I): Real Problem Solving Driven Artificial Intelligence Education Program provided by 4 universities: University of Yamanashi (Japan), Hangzhou Dianzi University (China), Pukyong National University (Korea) and Universiti Malaysia Perlis (Malaysia).

The Summer School this year is to be held by Pukyong National University (Korea). The students will gather at Busan to learn the edge-cutting AI technologies, deepen their knowledge on solving the real problems by using AI, enhance their cross-cultural understanding and English communication.

We are waiting for students who aspire to learn the latest AI technology, engage in research discussion in English with students from diverse backgrounds, play active roles globally in the future.

Details of 2024 A3I Summer School:

• Intended Participants: Engineering Department students who major in Computer Science or related fields

• Schedule: August 12 (Mon.) Departure ～ August 22 (Thu.) Arrival

• Accommodation: university dormitory (2 persons share 1 room)

• Quota: 5 (If the applicants exceed the quota, the priority is subject to the Dual Degree students of A3I)

• Expenses:
  ・ Program fee are borne by the host university.

・ Airfare are borne by the university.

・ Accommodation fee (around 37,000 JPY) are borne by participants.

・ Food cost at local, Overseas travel insurance, Safety confirmation system (OSSMA), Round trip transportation fee to Narita/ Haneda Airport are borne by participants.
・Pocket money is to be prepared by the participants themselves.
