A3I Summer School Conducted at PKNU, Korea
From August 12th (Mon) ～ August 22th (Thu), A3I Summer School 2024 was conducted at Pukyong National University (PKNU), Korea. 5 students from the Faculty of Engineering, the University of Yamanashi attended this program. The A3I Summer School is specialized in the field of Artificial Intelligence and the four universities in the consortium take turns to conduct it.
During the summer school, the participants attended a series of AI related lectures on the types, application and model development of AI. The students were also grouped into teams and conducted projects to classify Asian races by using the AI technology of face recognition.
Through participation in the summer school, students from the 4 universities (UY, HDU, PKNU, UniMAP) deepened their AI knowledge, learned the latest trend of AI technology and applied the knowledge in real-problem settings. The summer school turned out to be a fruitful one.
