Students participated a company visit
We held a company visit to YSK e-com Co., Ltd. on February 18 (Tue.), 2025. 10 international students from China, Korea and Malaysia, who are currently studying at University of Yamanashi, participated in the visit. After receiving a company explanation and career introduction from the staff at YSK e-com, the students observed how ICT-related work was carried out in the company. After that, the students had a discussion with the staff and asked questions which interested them.
The following comments were received from the participating students.
“This company visit was a great experience. Through the visit, I was able to gain a deeper understanding of the business operations of Japanese ICT companies. It was interesting to hear how the staff has achieved professional development with the advancement of technology, as the staff shared her own experience at the company for over 20 years. And it was particularly interesting to see how various technologies are applied in real environments through the on-site visit.”
We will continue to provide students with such opportunities to cultivate practical applied thinking in AI research.
