About Program
University ofYamanashi(UY), Hangzhou Dianzi University(HDU), Pukyong NationalUniversity(PKNU) and University of Malaysia Perlis(UniMap), will share their respective advantages, put together resources, and work coordinately to run dual degree programs, study abroad programs, short term cultural experiences, workshops, internship, shared online courses and summer schools. Through this project, it is expected to jointly develop 5 online courses ( 4 in master’s level and 1 in doctoral level), enroll no less than 140 students for exchange each year and jointly educate at least 70 graduates with dual degrees within 5 years. Besides, the 4 universities will hold an advanced AI symposium and an academic-industrial forum once a year. At least 700 undergraduate, master and doctoral students will benefit from this project. To assure the education quality, the four universities will collaborate in making education plans for the dual degree programs and a credit transfer & accreditation scheme. This project will be an exploration in innovating the mode of Asian AI talents training
and hope to strengthen the competitiveness of Asia.
The program aims to develop human resources who possess the six elements and abilities from the three aspects of internationality, knowledge, and applied skills, as AI human resources who can lead Society 5.0 and DX.
