Two first-year master’s students of Computer Science and Engineering Course from Department of Engineering started their study at HDU, China. During the five-month period from September 2023 to January, 2024, the students aim to deepen their understanding toward their own research fields and gain new knowledge and skills through taking courses at HDU and conducting research under the supervision of HDU’s faculties.

Nearly one month passed since the students started their study abroad. Below are the comments from the students, which indicate that they are living a busy yet fulfilling life while deepening their communication with lab members and faculties.

・With the support of local students and staff, I gradually get accustomed to the new environment and manage to set up the foundation for living at local.

・I greeted with the professors and members of the laboratory. Through the opportunity of discussion, the direction of my research topic was able to be determined.

・I was taken to the international academic conference which was held at local. My research motivation was improved as a result.

The A3I office will continue to provide support to ensure students’ study abroad experience fulfilling.
