Mid-long Term Study at Universiti Malaysia Perlis, Malaysia (UniMAP) Started
One first-year master’s student of Computer Science and Engineering Course from Department of Engineering started his study at Universiti Malaysia Perlis, Malaysia (UniMAP) since December, 2023.
About two weeks passed since the student started his study life in Malaysia. With the support from kind-hearted staffs and local students, he has adapted to the new environment in Malaysia gradually.
Below are some comments from the student, which indicate that he is living a fulfilling study life at the host university.
・I managed to communicate with people from diverse countries and started to understand cultural differences.
・I got better understanding about cultural and religious differences.
・I got the opportunity to speak with various students and my English communication skills are therefore enhanced.
・I was able to interact with various people through participating in badminton practice and playing futsal.
・My prior knowledge on religion was insufficient. I’d better do some work on it in my spare time.
・In order to report the progress of my research in English, I need to learn terminologies diligently.
The A3I office will continue to provide support to ensure students’ study abroad experience fulfilling.
