Students participated a company visit
we held a company visit to MIRAPRO Co., Ltd. on February 23, 2024. 9 international students from 4 countries currently studying at the University of Yamanashi participated in the visit. After receiving an explanation of the company at MIRAPRO, the students observed how AI is used in actual industries. After that, they had discussions with corporate researchers on the use of AI and experienced actual research and production.

「I have had a great experience through this company visit. There’s a lot more I’d like to explore and learn from the staff, but I understand that the schedule should also be a priority. I sincerely hope to have the opportunity to learn from the teams in the near future.
I’m confident to say that this company visit is beneficial for me, not only for my research, but also for my future. Even though it’s only a short visit, I’ve had a taste of the work environment. It gives me the encouragement I need and keeps me going.」
We will continue to provide such opportunities for students to cultivate practical applied thinking in AI research.
