PKNU’s faculty visited UY
On January 8th-9th, 2024, an assistant professor Sang-Ho Oh from Department of Computer Engineering and AI, Pukyong National University in Korea Republic visited University of Yamanashi.
Professor Oh delivered a lecture entitled as “Application of reinforcement learning in healthcare management” for students interested in A3I program. After that, Professor Oh exchanged opinions about A3I program and relevant research with Professor Mao (Executive Director of UY in charge of Research and Globalization), Professor Ozawa Kenji, Professor Go Kentaro, Professor Masahiro Toyoura, and Assistant Professor Zhu Zhenyang from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Professor Nishizaki Hiromitsu from the Department of Mechatronics. Professor Oh also met the PKNU student studying at UY as A3I program’ exchange student and follow-up on the student’s study-abroad life. It proved to be a meaningful academic discussion and exchange.
